EasyGearNG operates an online marketplace for sportswear and accessories.

- Location information (approximate or precise, with consent)
- Cookies and analytics data (site usage, clicks, preferences)

We process your data for the following lawful purposes, consistent with the principles of data processing in Sections 24 and 25 of the NDPA:

- To comply with legal and regulatory obligations

- Legal obligation: to comply with NDPA, tax, or anti-fraud regulations

We only share personal data as necessary for the purposes described above, in compliance with Chapter III of the NDPA. Data may be shared with:

Where data is transferred outside Nigeria, we ensure adequate protection in accordance with Sections 41–43 of the NDPA, using approved transfer mechanisms or the Data Subject’s consent.

Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill its collection purpose or as required by law. When data is no longer needed, it is securely deleted or anonymized in line with Section 37 of the NDPA.
9. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure — consistent with Section 40 of the NDPA. This includes encryption, restricted access, and periodic security reviews.
10. Your Rights as a Data Subject
Under Part VI of the NDPA, you have the right to:
- Access your personal data held by us
- Request correction or updating of your data
- Withdraw consent to processing (where applicable)
- Request deletion (“Right to be Forgotten”)
- Restrict or object to certain types of processing
- Request data portability
- Lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC)
